I really like the pattern of these sheets and the quality is good. But like other shoppers here, I was blown away by the strength of the scent. It smelled like a pesticide. I washed them a few times with detergent and baking soda, then soaked them in vinegar and warm water, washed a few more times and used fabric softener. I used the sheets to tumble dry and the smell was very faint. I hung them up and sprayed them with Febreze and that seems to have helped. I just hope more people don't mind buying them for the smell they can get rid of because they're really good sheets. I would give them 5 stars if I didn't have to use so much water and electricity to "normalize" them!
