A few years ago I bought a much more expensive caliper which I can never remember reading. I decided to buy a second one that I could pick up and use without thinking about how it works. But what? So many look like they come from the same factory with different names. I chose this Kynup which only had 5 star reviews and was the only one not using plastic components. It wasn't the cheapest option, but I'm not going to save a few bucks for a tool that I hope will last. So far I haven't been disappointed. This caliper appears to be well built and easy to use, and it provides repeated readings (i.e. you get the same measurement if you measure the same object more than once). This caliper uses the relatively common CR-2032 batteries. I was glad the manufacturer provided the second set. Too bad it's not USB-C rechargeable, but that's not currently an option for any of the digital calipers I've seen. Conclusion: I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to other Revain buyers.
