Extremely satisfied - Sizing

I tested this caliper with my 321 blocks and feelers. If both the caliper and these elements are not wrong to the same extent, then I got the expected results. Compared to the gauges, the caliper was accurate to +- 0.0005 inches, which appears to be an increment when using inches. The millimeter spacing is 0.01, which is 0.0004 inches. Again, this caliper proved accurate from 0.001" to 3.0" in my testing, with more than adequate accuracy for my purposes. The display is not backlit, but is easy…

Well built easy to read digital caliper

A few years ago I bought a much more expensive caliper which I can never remember reading. I decided to buy a second one that I could pick up and use without thinking about how it works. But what? So many look like they come from the same factory with different names. I chose this Kynup which only had 5 star reviews and was the only one not using plastic components. It wasn't the cheapest option, but I'm not going to save a few bucks for a tool that I hope will last. So far I haven't been…

Too high accuracy, erratic readings and no warranty support

Mine worked for 4 months but then several LED lines went out making you think you have readings but they are inaccurate. For example, what should read as 3/4 inch is 7/4 inch because the bottom two lines of the number 3 are not displayed. The manufacturer's website was down for maintenance in the last 3 months. I just decided to throw it in the trash and buy an old fashioned manual caliper. LED issue aside, I've actually found that 1/128 inch accuracy does more harm than good for my…

I should have bought a cheaper model

I had four other digital calipers and they all drew the same amount of current as when on. To ensure the caliper would work when I needed it, I removed the battery before putting it back in the box. Tiny screws hold the Kynup battery cover in place. Frequent removal causes problems. The ad said it would turn off automatically. I bought one and found that it switches 21 microamps on and off. The big downside was the display. My photo compares it to a $10 caliper. The contrast is bad, the decimal
