I recently upgraded my media center from my college days. Uses a Klipsch Quintet system for surround sound - all works through a Denon AVR. I noticed that the backported middle section of the quintet sounded flat in the new media center. Found this new Klipsch hub at Revain and pulled the trigger without hesitation - and I was more than happy with it. Straight out of the box, he blows the quintet's center speaker out of the water. It's bright (if you know Klipsch, you know the sound) but still balanced and much richer than the outgoing quintet center it replaced. I haven't even changed AVR settings or restarted Audyssey and this little speaker is still way ahead of its quintet counterpart. I can't even begin to describe the difference this thing makes. Not only in terms of volume and clarity, but also in terms of spatial awareness and depth. My only regret is that I didn't purchase the correct trio and swapped my front right/left to go with it! Definitely worth the money and for my small living room the sound couldn't be happier.
