I have a "normal" racing configuration on my gaming PC. This means that I have to move the wheel from time to time. It helps that not a single cable goes to the steering wheel, and when the kids have "moved" the wheel a few times in the past, they've dropped it and pulled the pedal connector out of the cable more than once. (Bring pliers and extra jacks if this happens to you.) I use this now to avoid this particular problem. However, I've noticed that Windows sometimes doesn't realize that the pedals are plugged in. Simply unplugging/replugging the USB fixes this. I really need to buy a racing simulator.
