is a high quality muffler but has a well thought out design. This means it does not meet Forest Service requirements for off-road use and requires the use of a spark arrestor in addition to the muffler. I doubt anyone will report this to you, but the point is it's non-compliant and if they did it would be a hefty fine. It's also quite noisy. Also, this muffler requires the use of fittings for installation and is not a direct fitment without them like 95% of aftermarket mufflers. That is, the muffler ends have a 2.25" OD, not a 2.25" ID, allowing the ends to slide through existing piping. . The ends are very strong and expanding them with an exhaust pipe expander will not work.
