I bought this and another cheap tester to replace an old gauge that was only reading 90psi on a new engine that was reading 120 prior to break-in. I was concerned when this gauge also read 90psi, then I kept checking and comparing to two other cheap gauges. The numbers were everywhere, I'm assuming the hose or fitting going to the head is the main culprit as I got more consistent numbers when I swapped out the hoses. I'm happy to have a cheap gauge at home for quick testing and a repair at the store for accuracy, but with such inconsistent readings it makes no sense.
