Review on Enhance Your Connectivity with Netgear MA101 802.11b Wireless USB Adapter by Steve Cooper

It took me just 20 minutes to set up my network with this amazing wireless USB adapter and MR314 wireless router/switch/access point. Of the total time, five minutes was spent installing the MA101 adapter. As a newbie to the network, I was amazed that everything worked exactly as it should without having to reinstall anything, call tech support, or pull my hair out. The PC with the adapter is two stories above the router, about 50 feet to the point. The signal strength registers as "low" (2 out of 5 points on the utility display), but I get an uninterrupted connection at a speed indistinguishable from the speed of a PC connected to the router. I am using Windows XP. There is an updated driver on the Netgear website, but I decided to take a chance and use the driver on the CD that came with the adapter. No problem - I clicked the "unsigned" driver warning and it installed and worked fine. At this point I will leave everything alone and not install a new driver. Highly recommended.
