I have two small children, so we have used many different straw cups. It's definitely not the best we've used in this price range. So far they appear to be sealed as advertised. They do not have double walls and therefore offer very little insulation. I wasn't paying attention when I bought it, but seeing the price and the fact that it's stainless steel made me think of it. When you pour a cold drink, the cup becomes almost uncomfortable to hold, it's so cold (it's without ice, just milk from the fridge). I never skimp on baby mugs because you usually get what you pay for, but these mugs don't go down well with funtainers. Finally, despite claiming they are dishwasher safe, there is a sticker on the bottom advising that only the lid is dishwasher safe and the mug itself should be hand washed. I'm sure this is to hold the decals in place and I will definitely put them in the dishwasher, but in my personal experience, Funtainers can wash the dishwasher nightly for at least a year before the decals show any signs. wear. This is not a mug I would mess with again.
