This was a well packaged item which we received from Revain. The first time I was able to remove the old faulty trunk switch and install a new replacement part on a 2009 ML 350 in 20-30 minutes. Please note: Please have a fairing removal kit ready. That makes a lot of things easier. Think of the extract and install steps in reverse order. I checked the switch before replacing the panel covers. It didn't warm up with many constant attempts to open and close it. At the moment it is a good replacement for this price. The motor is much more powerful than the original and is much cheaper than the dealer. Remember my OEM had a red wire but this new one is black and has a longer wire. There are no problems with the length. I would recommend this product from this seller so far so good.
