Junk Part - Don't Waste Money

My analysis of this product showed that it's poorly made and doesn't fit correctly. The installation process was a nightmare, and after only a few uses, the liftgate became stuck again.

Identical to my factory lock.

This tailgate latch was purchased for my 2009 Mercedes GL450. My old latch opened but wouldn't close when closed. I found a YouTube video showing how to replace it and decided to try this inexpensive option. Has been working great for over a month now! It looks exactly like my factory installed padlock.

Perfect for 2009 ML 350

This was a well packaged item which we received from Revain. The first time I was able to remove the old faulty trunk switch and install a new replacement part on a 2009 ML 350 in 20-30 minutes. Please note: Please have a fairing removal kit ready. That makes a lot of things easier. Think of the extract and install steps in reverse order.
