Green cap stays in place
I couldn't find anything in the instructions to leave or remove the outer green cap on the filter. I made the wrong decision and dropped her. So I had to throw it away. Luckily I bought 2 packs and swapped them out. So don't take off the green cover! Good price compared to other filters.
