Like some of the other reviewers, I had trouble connecting a portable dishwasher to a kitchen faucet, particularly a pop up faucet. Even the more knowledgeable salespeople at hardware stores were unhelpful and didn't have many adapters. Most just suggested that I buy a different kitchen faucet that would fit in the dishwasher, but I just installed a pull-out faucet and liked it, and buying a new one felt like a waste. its supply hose (threaded correctly) to the dishwasher, but this connection broke when water flowed through it. Also, I didn't want to disassemble and reassemble so many parts every time I used the dishwasher - it seemed like this process was going to ruin the faucet soon. Opening for soap dispenser/side spray and dishwasher connection. A local hardware store had a Glacier Bay faucet (part number 395310, single hole) for a little over $20 that worked very well (other faucets are available). I connected this faucet to the main kitchen faucet's hot water line (must love the Sharkbite installation that made it so easy!) but unfortunately, again, the new faucet didn't fit the dishwasher outlet. I can't tell you how happy I was to find this adapter pack at a reasonable price. The adapters arrived today, one worked great with no leaks and now I can easily attach and remove it to the sink faucet using the dishwasher quick connect without having to unplug and unplug the aerators every time the dishwasher is used. Also, I can still use the kitchen faucet while the dishwasher is running. I just loaded my first bowl and am very pleased! Incidentally, the portable dishwasher is the "SPT SD-9241W Energy Star Portable Dishwasher, 18-Inch, White” model – there is no opinion on that yet. Background: I live in a historic home where the kitchen cabinets were handcrafted and don't fit into any of today's standard sizes. I couldn't bring myself to trash one of those cabinets to fit a dishwasher, but I didn't want to spend forever washing dishes by hand either. These adapters were key to getting everything for the portable dishwasher, thanks!
