This bag is ideal for weekend trips when you don't want to deal with full-size roll-on or carry-on bags that need to be stowed in the luggage compartment. I combine this with a hip pack and together I have everything I need to fly. The waist belt makes it quite comfortable even for a petite woman, allowing me to distribute the weight lower so my shoulders don't hurt. I took this with me on my recent trip to New York and had no problem maneuvering the subway. It also fits perfectly under an airplane seat, and the included rain cover doubles as a protective cover to protect the back of the pack, where the straps are, from the airplane's dirty carpet. Highly recommended.
