So I bought this ladder in August thinking it would be the cure for hauling an extension ladder or a small giant ladder. I had a friend for about $500 and I swear by him. So after some research this ladder seems to have had good reviews and a fair price tag of $200. I've had this ladder in my shop since August and finally used it last weekend to clear gutters but it broke on first use. The cuffs that hold the rungs in place actually broke as I climbed to the second floor of my home, leaving me stuck as going down the stairs was basically unsafe. Mind you, that was his first assignment. The locking points described seemed grim (plastic) at first, but it's just ridiculous and I held my breath as I climbed onto it, only to have them break and collapse. Just to let us know I'm 6-01 and 210 lbs so it didn't feel like I was putting a heavy load on this unit (rated at 300 lbs). So the lesson learned is, if you only have one ladder, buy a good one and spend your money because your life isn't worth saving an extra $300. This is a scam and the ladder is no longer available on Revain for the most likely reason. deathtrap.
