Review on DROK Accuracy 0 33 00V 0 999 9MA 3 000A Voltmeter by Jason Matthews

I bought one that measures both voltage and current and was very impressed at first. I checked it against a very accurate gauge and it turned out to be accurate. Then I connected it to my project and was a bit disappointed. It measures the voltage between the thin yellow wire and the black wire. This measures the voltage *before* the shunt. It MUST measure the voltage between the thin yellow wire and the thick red wire (which measures the voltage *after* the shunt). So the voltage reading is a few millivolts higher than expected (depending on the current). In addition, there is no way to switch on the current consumption of the device itself (approx. 15 mA). Fair enough, but now I have to mentally adjust both voltage and current. This is a little disappointing for an accurate and visually stunning panel meter. If you can live with a few shortcomings, this is a very good panel meter for the price.
