I have to preface that I work in IT and at the end of the day I just want everything to work without any problems or fuss. Due to the fact that I work from home more, I found the need for KVM so I can use the same keyboard and mouse on two computers. I wanted something small that could be installed and a little button hidden somewhere so I could switch screens. Despite the price, this thing is pretty cool. I have a desktop gaming PC and my work PC connected to it, and a keyboard/mouse for both (plus a wireless mouse for my work PC). I mounted it on the monitor arm and placed the switch on the back of the monitor so it's up and out of sight. My only complaint about this is rather trivial: the cable that goes to the switch isn't very taut, allowing it to be pulled. quite easy. But since it just sits and doesn't move, it really isn't a problem unless you're moving things around. Overall: This KVM was a great bet and I got a lot of value from it. 1080p, 4K not tried.
