After 178,000 miles it's time to stop cleaning the old one and finally replace it. The check engine light (P0170) came on. Replaced the sensor, the problem went away and it works MUCH better. Be careful of the 2 screws holding the sensor, they tend to rip off the Phillips; Take out the filter box/MAF housing and lay it on a bench so you can push these screws down a bit. 3 screws, 1 clamp, a hose/clamp and the air chamber is removed. Just reinstall. The whole thing takes 20 minutes including removing the 12mm socket/extension/ratchet and Phillips screwdriver.
