I'm a girl and most of the repair stuff I know is from the internet. So replacing window frames and other rotten surfaces/slants/front panels is out of my hands. This stuff followed by jb Weld Premium two part epoxy fixes everything. I just dig up the rot, apply lots of it and wait a day for the wood to harden. Like a stone. Then apply the mixed filler with a wet scraper. Then sand and paint after drying. If the rot is deep but not very soft, you'll need a syringe to inject it rather than digging in more than you need. And a little goes a lot further than I always expect.
