Will fix any wood rot

I'm a girl and most of the repair stuff I know is from the internet. So replacing window frames and other rotten surfaces/slants/front panels is out of my hands. This stuff followed by jb Weld Premium two part epoxy fixes everything. I just dig up the rot, apply lots of it and wait a day for the wood to harden. Like a stone. Then apply the mixed filler with a wet scraper. Then sand and paint after drying. If the rot is deep but not very soft, you'll need a syringe to inject it rather than…

Fantastic dry rot repair material - saves on replacement costs.

Excellent product for repairing facade panels damaged by dry rot. This is an old house with custom finishes meaning it will be expensive to replace. Just cut, scrape, wire brush the rotten spots until you get good wood. Apply liquid to surfaces as directed. The bottle cap nozzle drips a little when working with a vertical surface. It is recommended to apply with a disposable shaving brush and then paint until the wood is abundantly damp. The next day the wood becomes as hard as stone. I screwed

Works so well! good for devices

That's great! We had very bad rot on the balcony railing (our fault for not keeping up with the peeling paint) and a few boards with termite damage. I found this stuff and some great tutorial videos on YouTube and decided to go for it. What did I have to lose? Make sure you're trying to pull off as much of the loose material as possible. This material is absorbed immediately. For vertical surfaces, the video I watched said to drill a few holes at an angle and let the liquid soak through the…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Hard to say

I bought PC Products PC-Petrifier water based wood hardener to repair badly weathered 20 year old mahogany roof boards on a playground. Petrified actually has a water-like viscosity and absorbs very well into weathered wood. I applied 2 coats as instructed resulting in a slight sheen on the wood. The product does not have a direct sun or UV rating and as expected I noticed a slight deterioration of the surface of the cured product after a few weeks in the summer sun. I then applied a…

This is a great product for hardening the rotted end of a log that I .

This is a great product to reinforce a rotten end of a log I had in my cabin. I had a large log end approx 36" x 14". I first cleaned up all the really bad wood in the log, first soaked the area with this wood hardener and let it sit for a day, then I used something called PC Products 1926 10 Red Terminator, which is two parts resin and hardener mixed with a Paste is consistency with sawdust applied in 2-3 inch layers which I let dry overnight at 50 degrees. It turned out to be rock solid and…

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good product, environmentally friendly and difficult to clean

I had termite damage behind a gutter on a porch that extends outside the walls of the house. I tore out the main thermite tunnels and the outer shell of the old paint down to about 12 feet of 1 1/2" x 3/4" wood paneling. I then carved some wood to even out the uneven area I ripped out. I then applied this wood hardener to the entire area in about 3 coats, waiting in the sunlight at 85 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1/2 hour between coats. As others have mentioned, it strengthened the area of the…
