In other words, you're stuck with the useless waves they're sending you and the only thing you can do is replace them.

I purchased these darts through ebay but was unable to cancel my order when I found out the bars cannot be replaced with standard 2BA threaded bars. In other words, you're stuck with the useless rods they send you and all you can do is replace them with Bottelsen rods for $35 a set. That's right, $35 for three crappy little aluminum bars. But that's just the beginning. Neither tips nor shafts protrude directly from the barrels. If you bend them straight, they will bend off-center once you throw them again. These are the only asymmetric darts I've ever seen. The so-called sharkskin finish just feels dirty and rubs off your fingers, and sometimes small grains of sand get under your nails. God forbid you bring an arrow close enough to another to touch it. Then two pieces of fairing are missing and they no longer weigh the same. Since these are Hammerhead darts, I removed the tips from the front of the barrel and hammered them into the back of the barrel, converting them from front weighted darts to rear weighted darts. This allowed me to insert any 2ba shank into the hole that previously held the bottelsen's movable tips. I have bought 15 high quality darts in the last year. These Bottelsen darts cost $160. Those shits don't even count as arrows. They are useless for this purpose. I'm thinking of turning them into fishhooks since they bend so easily.
