Review on 🎾 Gearbox Racquetball Balls: Premium 3 Ball Pack for Optimal Performance by Jason Epstein

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just really good for sports

Update (03/22/2016): - After almost two months, 5-6 hours a week, hitting and serving hard, the first ball gave up and broke around the seam ( see image) ). Although I thought it would last a little longer given the price and wear and tear of the ball, I still think it's acceptable. The behavior of the ball hasn't changed much over time and is always what I expected it to be. On to the next ball! ------- Look no further if you are interested in a ball that makes moderate paced games more accessible. I'm more of an avid gamer, I have a little problem with my shoulder. I often found myself sloppy on balls of different compositions (blue, red, green) and looked for a ball that was consistent, predictable, solid, fast enough to get you moving but slow enough for me to focus on . Swing technique and placement - it tests everything! The ball feels more "natural" in play, lands where you'd expect, has a little more "hang time" to adjust your position, and doesn't feel heavy on impact (nice and light feel with enough feedback). ). The bounce seems correct, but players who like to hit the ball behind the wall might be a little frustrated at first as they don't have the same bounce/bounce as the others. It's also very easy to track the ball compared to other colors (even more so than pink). Still on the #1 ball and haven't seen any signs of a drop in performance yet. An ideal choice for those who want to focus on moderate-pace rally driving; not a very good choice for those looking for fast and intense rallies.

Pros
  • Color: cardinal red
Cons
  • Some little things
