To talk in detail about all the advantages of this model, I would have to write a whole review, so I will express my opinion briefly. As a professional film director and TV producer (with 25 years of experience at well-known TV channels), I can say that Sony was very modest, positioning this model only as a camera for bloggers. In capable hands, the ZV-1 can be an excellent tool for professional use in situations where the use of other equipment is impossible or unprofitable.

Pros

In my opinion, the Sony ZV-1 hybrid camera, in terms of its characteristics, has no analogues today. I will list the main advantages. A fast zoom lens (24-70mm f/1.8-2.8) combined with a 1" sensor and a processing algorithm with almost 2x oversampling (oversampling) allows you to get excellent picture quality when recording in 4K. The camera is equipped with one of the most efficient hybrid autofocus systems. The presence of logarithmic profiles (LOG) allows you to get an image with a wider gamut, and this is important for post-processing (even despite the fact that the camera writes with color depth only 8 bits and subsampling 4:2:0). ZV-1 has an LCD screen that rotates in all planes, which is extremely convenient for video shooting. You can charge the battery from a power bank during operation. There is a built-in three-stage ND filter. There is also an interesting function, software video stabilization in the Catalyst Browse proprietary software (metadata recorded from the camera's gyroscope is used). features, as well as a large number of fine adjustments, allow you to use this baby for professional work.

Cons

No viewfinder. No headphone output, Low battery capacity. There is no possibility, without dancing with tambourines, to use light filters. There is no 4K 50p recording format.
