Review on 🔪 Enhance Your DW734 Planer with DEWALT Planer Blades (DW7342) by Marcus Munoz

I've read some reviews about Freud's blades being dull and Freud not caring. This surprises me because I haven't had any luck with their products and service. However, it bothered me enough that I chose Dewalt. It appeared to be a risk free purchase. These blades are SHARP! I could feel it, but I also saw them with my loupe, which I use for sharpening and teaching. Even the square edges are insanely well finished. My plane hums like it's new on its own and the extra blades make me send it in to be sharpened. I haven't tried sharpening planer knives yet. The jointer is easy to make using the template I made, but sharpening a 12" blade requires two strips of sandpaper and another template. Someday I will.
