I realize this will be a very lengthy evaluation. TLC200 apparatus. Everything is fine with the car's weight and power when driven by Shumkov. New tires and wheels were purchased without delay. Put them through around 4000 kilometers of driving on various terrains. At the 60-kilometer mark, we saw the first tire service joint. The two left wheels released the overhead weights at a speed of around 100 kilometers per hour. I discovered the tire's egginess (the surface walks approximately 5 mm) when I went to re-balance them. This egginess causes an uneven rumbling (woah-woah-woah) at speeds greater than about 70 km/h. Second, it takes 4-5 days for the pressure in three of the four tires to drop from 2.3 to 1.8 atm after being properly fitted. So far, I haven't been able to identify it. Four times a week for three weeks. Even before I had it installed, I was mortified by how obviously not an SUV it looked due to its thin and flimsy sidewall. Whereas I had no qualms with parking next to curbs in my Nordman 5, I now find myself terrified to do so in my Hakka 9. Another peculiarity is that the tire sags practically to the disk when resting on the curb with the wheel turned out (as happens when parking on a steep incline). The tires are not low-profile (171mm in height, 2.3 atm in wheel pressure). The good times, that is. The car moves confidently and without surprises over a thin layer of snow. I'm thinking of putting them through their paces in a snow porridge setting of around 15 centimeters deep. I drove confidently, but slower than usual (from 110 to 90-80 km/h), on an icy track with crossings (snow on ice). The car seemed to be gliding effortlessly over the ice, as though it were on asphalt. Even though the EDB and other systems did not even squeal, there was a minor drift at 90 km/h on a bend in the road where the ice was quite ribbed and the tire began to hop (or "goat") on it. No experience with heavy snowfall to report. When I have time, I'll write a review and submit it. Excellent tires on asphalt, ice, and slush, to sum up. I would give these tires five stars if it weren't for the fact that three out of four of my tires are always flat.
