I'm not an expert: fish and aquatic animals
I have a betta whose appetite is erratic. He had accumulated leftovers that the filter did not let through. (He is alone in a 6 gallon filter tank with heater and natural plants). I added this twice and the tank came into a good balance I think. No more food waste on the ground. He still looks healthy and eats like he used to.
