Review on Pioneer CD Digital Music Player - Classic Edition by Shawn Xayamonty

First of all, I am completely satisfied with the sound quality and the features of the device, Bluetooth calls work great with my phone, clear and fairly easy to use, dialing from the device itself leaves something to be desired, but I rarely do it. Most of the time I just pick up or dial from the phone. There are some really annoying things that, knowing now, I would NOT buy again. Check out the dot matrix display, it is MUCH dimmer in bright sunlight, the display is basically unreadable in bright sunlight and gets lower at night, and even in a dark car in the evening it's too dark, I HATE the display, that is reason enough in itself that I would never use one again. Time. If I remove it and paste it again, it reads correctly, but it becomes a problem after a while. Also, initially it didn't work at all until I did a little research and downloaded a custom card formatting utility and then it worked, but it still throws errors all the time (think EVERY time). Anyone who wants to use the USB music feature will get annoyed with it after a while, like me. If you don't use it and only want to use it to charge your phone occasionally, please note that it is VERY LOW POWER and won't charge your phone well. The other thing that's really annoying about the USB port is that you have to dive into the settings and flip the switch to be either music or charger. You can't just plug your phone in and it will charge when it's set to play music. It won't charge your phone unless you change it in the settings, and vice versa if you plug in a USB device with music. Let's get back to the settings. The USB capabilities on this thing suck and are awkward at best, and they alone would make me not want this device. Pioneer. Update your USB game!
