I needed one for my basement. I already have Akurite but wanted it to keep track of my humidity and temperature both upstairs and downstairs. After reading the reviews that it was 1 star I thought I'd test it against the one I have (which has high ratings). It seems pretty accurate in clothes. For the price paid for it, it's great. My next test was to put it upstairs next to my thermostat. My thermostat is set to 76. There's no humidity so it's just based on my temperature. It is very comfortable. All buttons are well marked on the back. I didn't wall mount it but I used a stand which supports it very well on flat surfaces. The only thing I would wish for is a magnet where the batteries go. but it can easily be done as a DIY project.
