I have had an aquarium for a long time and after removing algae blooms I started seeing cloudy water. I left town for a week with other people feeding the fish and when I came back the cloud looked like a southern fall morning that wasn't going to go away. Vacuumed, water changed, clarifier added. Still cloudy. I have replaced my sponge filters with a large jet/charcoal/wheel filter. Still cloudy. That block was my Ave Mary. First, I read guides, comments, and reviews. I put it on the bubbler and waited. Nothing at first, but on day 4 and 5 the tank cleaned up almost like magic and I believe in it and am very happy. This is a 55 gallon tank with 1 medium rock. White showed up, but since I read the review and comment first, I expected that and I'm not worried. Highly recommended. I wish I could find something similar for my 200 gallon outdoor pond. It would send me over the edge with happiness.
