Review on AFAITH Upgraded Charger for HTC Vive Pro/Vive Headset and Controller: Multifunctional Contact Charging Station with VR Stand Holder, Supports Firmware Upgrade by Patrick Stowers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cheaper than two separate controller and headset stands

It has a power switch so I can turn off charging when the remotes are full or when I go to sleep and don't want to turn on the lights. I like the light in the magnetic connectors so I can see where to place my controllers even if the lights in my room are off while the device is on. The stand isn't great for the headset itself, I have a vive+ deluxe audio strap and I usually have to loosen/unscrew the strap so it rests in a good position on the stand. It's cheaper than a separate stand for the controller and headset, at least from what I could find when I bought it. It's powered by the included USB cable, no AC adapter is included. I ended up just using one of the ones that came with my Vive to charge my controllers. I suppose you can also connect it to your computer. I don't think you can update the controller firmware through this, but I haven't tried.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Modern
