I bought this charger about a month ago, it was quite easy to assemble and use and seemed like a good product at the time. Fast forward to now and it killed both of my HTC Vive controllers and they only offer to refund me half the price I paid for this stand and refuse to replace my controllers. If you're willing to pay that much just for the stand, this works, but it kills your controllers when using the charging feature.

Aside from the fact that mine didn't work out of the box, the design itself is pretty bad. The whole point of a magnetic charging pen is that you can be less precise when placing an object on the charger. This design has two tiny pins sticking out of the device that need to be inserted into two tiny holes in the adapter that you plug into the controllers. This stand has a 5-star design and 3-star performance. It takes up little space, does its job well, and has some great features like magnetic charging for controllers (effectively eliminating one of the many cables needed for the entire Vive Pro setup). It has a power switch so I can turn off charging when the remotes are full or when I go to sleep and don't want to turn on the lights. I like the light in the magnetic connectors so I can see where to place my controllers even if the lights in my room are off while the device is on. The stand isn't great for the headset itself, I have a vive+ deluxe audio strap and I usually have to loosen/unscrew the strap so it rests in a good position on the stand.
