so I just had to come here and post a review after seeing some of the other reviews when deciding whether to buy it or not. There were many complaints that it wasn't bright enough to be the only light source. I do not agree. The lights that came with my 55 were so bright it was ridiculous. I wanted lights that can dim and change colors. Is the white color super bright at the brightest setting? no but bright enough. and i like this celadon at medium brightness, my fish are much more active now because the spotlight is not on them. I am very happy that I chose this light. oh yes, the receiver for the remote control was also criticized. I had no issues with it dangling underneath while pointing the remote at it. but anyway I just tied it to the side shelf of the tank to make it look nicer and definitely always visible to the remote.
