Review on Julius K9 Harness by Kyle Robbins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy handling for spare parts

Bought because my dog always tries to maneuver in the front seat while driving and also for his safety during the upcoming drive. It is very easy to use as I also have a Julius-K9 (LOVE IT) harness for my dog. The end of the seat belt fits perfectly in every car I've tried it in so far (except for the center seat belt in the back seat which is fine as there are two others there anyway) and the connection to the belt is secure. This works with other harnesses as well, but I wouldn't use this with just a dog collar as the pressure is on the neck and not the back/chest like a harness. The only downside and the reason I gave it 4 stars is my dog's tendency to wrap himself up in it. This is a good way to keep them secure without tying them completely to the seat, but at the same time anything that allows them to move around can confuse them. For my dog this compromise was definitely worth it as he keeps whining when he gets stuck in the same spot so this works well allowing him to move around a bit and look out the windows while still being safe is. Although sometimes I have to check if his legs are in the seat belts. A good option if your dog can't handle being chained to a special seat that doesn't allow him to move around much.

Pros
  • Important: For safety reasons you must secure the pawl with two adapters that are connected to the two side rings!
Cons
  • can't remember
