The clutches are definitely worth it.

First of all, I didn't use a hose, so I can't comment on that. I saw no reason to replace my stock bowden cable tube, so these are spares only in case I need them in the future. But the clutches are great. I haven't had them for a long time so let's see how they hold up over time. But I noticed an immediate improvement in the stability of my models after replacing the stock hitch on my Ender 3. I've been using the printer almost 24/7 for several days and so far there have been no signs of any problems. Even after a few weeks I have to change it again, it costs me next to nothing and there are still 3 sets of spare clutches.
