I use toaster ovens more than my regular oven, so I've really struggled with my move over which one to go with. I didn't want to spend $300 on an expensive one as my situation has changed and I travel a lot now. I went with this one, which wasn't my first choice, but after reading a lot of reviews and comparing features, it seemed like the one for me. I haven't had it that long so can't comment on durability but my experience so far has been really good. Here's the breakdown: - It takes 60 seconds to unpack and install. Nothing to assemble, very easy to get started - I like the compact format with the controls under the oven rather than on the side. If you're short on counter space, you'll appreciate the smaller square footprint. Oven is as big on the inside as the oven with controls on the side - Controls are intuitive and feel precise - It's fast - perfectly toasts a bagel on medium in 2 minutes - Easy-slide bottom tray for collecting and disposing of crumbs - The inside glows very brightly which is great for seeing progress as it's definitely faster than my last toaster. I guess my only concern is will he survive? It's quite light but doesn't feel flimsy. I will definitely change my rating if something happens, but for now I feel like I made the best choice for my needs and saved some money.
