After 6 years of much use and bouncing around, my old brand name Dewalt batteries are finally giving up the ghost. Out of 7 batteries I have 3 still going strong, which is still pretty impressive!I received these in solid gray. The fit and finish is excellent. They feel just as solid and well made as the Dewalt brand batteries. Installing them in the vacuum took a little wiggling and slapping, but it went in and stayed in, which is about the same amount of fun involved with branded batteries. In other tools they snap right in, again just like branded batteries.Their first duty was in the portable vacuum cleaner, which was loaned to a friend. She used it for quite a while (too long) until the battery was hot to the touch, which I do NOT recommend (batteries + heat = sad).I charged it after it cooled down, and it's ready to go to work.While I haven't had extensive use out of these yet, I'm giving them 5 stars and ordering more right now. They're exceedingly cheap compared to branded batteries, and aside from the color these Fakwalt are indistinguishable from the much more expensive branded ones. There's not a lot that can go wrong with them, so if something interesting develops I'll update my review.Highly Recommend!
