I play a lot of tennis and I usually buy Adidas GameCourt shoes which are phenomenal tennis shoes for me. It was time to buy a new pair of shoes as the tread was wearing off and I saw playgrounds retailing for $130 which was more than I normally pay so I skimped and bought this pair of shoes. The lesson here is don't skimp on the things that connect you to the ground — car tires, a good bed mattress, and sneakers. These shoes are really comfortable for everyday wear and walking. But they are not suitable for stop and go, constant back and forth tennis. I've found that my ankle rubs on the outside of the boot and my feet get stuck in the front of the boot when I have to brake mid-toe. They're also quite narrow and don't have the "chafing protection" that playgrounds have when you drag your toes across the court. I give 4* as it's really comfortable shoes when I'm not playing tennis. and since the stitching next to one of the small adidas stripes comes undone after less than a week of use. So yes, if you play tennis at a decent level, don't buy these shoes, waste your extra money
