I bought two of these pumps at the same time and thought they were great. However, one of them stopped working - it charges and lights up, but no longer starts the pump motor. The control board shows extensive corrosion. This pump is next to our kitchen sink, so I'm assuming water dripped off the top knob from wet hands. Another pump is used in the living room, but with dry hands. I think it's a good product but could have been better with a seal over the on/off button. I would suggest that you wrap the top in plastic wrap to keep water from getting into the electronics.
