Capri torsion bars are quality tools in terms of fit and finish including a well finished body and tested to a high degree of accuracy. I tested all of the torque bars with a 1/2" TQFR250E manual torque wrench with 40-250 lb-ft Snap On. The Capri brake bars were +/- 2-5 lbs under their rating, what a budget set this really is is good. The 140lb stick actually weighed 135lb, which is better than 145lb as breaking off the lugs is a real pain.I used two percussion pistols for testing: a brand new Milwaukee Electric 9070-20, fresh out of the box, and a 35 year old Ingersoll Rand (IR) 1/2" airgun that has been rebuilt multiple times. Despite the revamp, the IR pistol is clearly tiring because it can't handle a 140-pound grip at a level close to the 140-foot-pound level of the new Milwaukee electric pistol. hit with ease, so I based the results on the new Milwaukee torque gun. It's time for a new pneumatic torque gun. The wrench is time consuming but with aluminum wheels it is important to have the correct torque. This is also a good set for my stock lawnmower wheels. Supposedly a lifetime guarantee. My only downside is that it would be great if the Capri cranks had a wider torque range than this little 5 piece set.
