Review on πŸ‘œ SPLF 12 Pack Dishwasher Safe Reusable Storage Bags: Silicone and Plastic Free, BPA Free, Leakproof Lunch Bags for Food Storage by Joshua Douglas

I will still use them but they are not very dishwasher safe.

I don't normally write product reviews, but if something claims to be dishwasher safe and then goes bad in the dishwasher due to advertised use, I think it's a good idea to warn others before making a purchase. First of all, I really like these bags. They feel durable, hand wash easily and the different sizes are handy for the different things I want to store in them. I will continue to use the others I have because I am working hard to reduce the use of plastic bags in my family. Second, they are very easy to hand wash, which is not a problem. However, they are advertised as dishwasher safe and after the first time in the dishwasher I had the packaging in the picture above. Mangled, and now the seal has become useless. I have to throw it away and am disappointed. I had another smaller bag in the same top rack dishwasher load and it wasn't mangled but unfortunately it wasn't clean. I think I'll hand wash them every time to keep the rest of the bags from getting damaged and to make sure they're really clean. My recommendation if you get these and want to use the dishwasher would be to try just the top basket and check if they really are clean when you take them out of the dishwasher. You have to hand wash the big bag every time because it doesn't fit on the top shelf.
