I like these a lot good for me

I really like these pencils and I’ve had fun using them. I have only used them on watercolor paper, not fabric or anything, but they have worked perfectly for what I have done with them. I wanted to use them very similarly to watercolor pencils. The colors are very vibrant, both dry and wet. They are pretty soft with a waxy sort of feel and put down a lot of color. They definitely work better on artist quality paper (I have used them on 140 lb watercolor paper). When they say they are permanent when dry, I would say that it’s mostly true, but not entirely. They are much more permanent than Derwent watercolor pencils though, for comparison. If the wet ink puddles and forms a line, that will bleed when wet. The edges don’t stay as crisp if more water is added after it’s dried. The second picture shows where I re-wet the ink after it had dried and how it effects the edge of the color. The swatch that I did was spur-of-the-moment, so it’s not perfect, but I hope it’s helpful to some people.

Pros
  • ‎ACCO Brands
Cons
  • The cores do not have enough pigment, making the colors appear washed out
