I don't find the smell pleasant either. I ordered 2 bottles because I find it affordable. Then hoping for the best, especially because of all the 5 star reviews. They were packed in a fairly large box with no extra padding to keep them from dangling. So for me the packaging of the bottle survived! I have relatively dry skin due to my age. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA) is the second ingredient after Aqua. I know this should be avoided, but I took the risk that SLS Free doesn't mean SLSA either. Which makes my hands very dry. Immediately after towel drying, they feel irritable, which is most likely SLSA. Many are happy with that. So this is primarily aimed at interested parties who want to get the exact ingredients. I won't list them all as almost all use chemical names. The third ingredient is cocamidopropyl betaine. Towards the end of the list we come to perfume.
