When the toilet paper tycoons were eviscerating supermarket shelves back in 2020 the brand I used to buy, Cascade, was nowhere to be found. So I figured I'd give this a try.Well, I rinse everything pretty well before the dishwasher so I'll never have a problem with a dishwasher cycle. However, I noticed the difference with the glasses. The only way I can describe it is with this product they come out looking BETTER than NEW! Then just for giggles I didn't rinse the glasses and dishes. No hard food particles because that will eventually kill the dishwasher, but any dried sauces or beverages were left on. Cascade used to choke on that stuff which is how I got into the habit of rinsing so thoroughly. Finish cleaned them off and left everything looking brand new.I'm cheap, and this product costs more than the higher formula of Cascade. But with this you get as much or more than you pay for.I did see a couple of reviews about soap taste. Well, I don't run the tree-hugger cycles. Everything is set to max, pot scrubber, paint remover, whatever. So everything gets clean, and I did not notice any sort of soap taste.
