I'm the type of person who likes to buy quality tools and as I work a lot in the kitchen that ideology applies there too. Simply put, this shovel is the best shovel I have ever used. Ergonomic; The smooth curves fit both my large (male) hand and my wife's, and the plastic isn't slippery and holds up well. The most amazing thing is how easily it cuts into ice cream, despite the fact that the edge isn't even as sharp as a butter knife. Hard ice cream straight from the freezer can be reliably served without even heating the spoon. In terms of durability, my spoon has been used at least once a week for the past three years and still looks the same as when it was purchased. I never wash it in the dishwasher (although my wife did several times) but rather with soap and water. I gave this shovel to some of my friends as a wedding gift (I got a wedding gift too) and it's always well received. Overall, it feels great, holds up great, and most importantly, works great. Deserves the full grade for me.
