I installed a camera system on my 2006 GMC double cab pickup. By running the cable along the door sills, through the cabin vent, and along the frame rails, I got enough cable to mount the monitor above the rear view mirror. Spent 3 hours removing the tailgate trim on my 2009 Tahoe and routing wires. Since the license plate is on the back door, I connected the camera to the reversing light. As stated in my title: I have his first block 50002 bought about 3 years ago. My mechanic installed the system. The first block worked wonderfully. I give it 5 stars out of 5. It worked flawlessly (happened while the truck was reversing + VERY sharp image with great detail and clarity.
