05/05/21 - After telling myself I would never buy one like this again I decided to buy a third device. I decided it was easier to swap out the controller than install a different brand block. The Price of Laziness. This one lasted the longest, but again the water inside the controller caused the failure. Your method of encapsulation is practically useless. The first two photos show both sides of the board as it originally was. Note that there is a large enough area at the bottom of the board (side with no cable connectors) where it is not protected at all. Corrosion is evident here. The second two photos show both sides of the board with the capsule removed. Significant damage can also be seen on the completely sealed top. I'm amazed that this device finally died just two days ago. There is still water between the circuit board and the housing. I live in Wisconsin, the only thing I can understand is that it's covered in snow.
