I installed a camera system on my 2006 GMC double cab pickup. By running the cable along the door sills, through the cabin vent, and along the frame rails, I got enough cable to mount the monitor above the rear view mirror. Start at the back of the car and move forward. The only issue I had was that the camera view was shifted about 4-6 inches even though the camera was positioned right in the middle of the bumper. I called Hopkins customer service and the tech admitted that they have a number of products where the camera is not properly mounted on the circuit board which turns off the image. They promised to send a new camera immediately, but it's been over a week and I still haven't received it. As soon as I receive the replacement part I will increase my rating to 5 stars. four for product performance and an additional star for good customer service. Overall this is a good inexpensive system and works well when secured in my trailer. Update: Got a new camera from Hopkins and the system works fine.
