I have this in my study as we wanted to watch TV there while I redo my living room. Even with a new air conditioner it can get very stuffy in there, so I bought this portable air conditioner. Not only is it easy to set up, but it really helps keep the room much cooler than it was. Just the other day the outside temperature was about 113 degrees but with this portable air conditioner we couldn't even tell it was hot outside. What I love about this portable air conditioner is that you can add ice cubes or use the ice packs that come with it. I simply fill ice packs with water, freeze them, and then place them in the device where the water flows. Not only does it keep the water nice and icy, but it also blows out cold air. We can easily switch it from low to high and then make it oscillate. It really helps keep that stuffy room cool and cool throughout the evening during family vacations. The device itself is fairly light without water, but once you add water and ice packs, things can get a bit heavy. However, we have wooden floors, so moving these over them is not a problem. The best part is that it doesn't leak during use or make a watery mess on my floors. We have this in the corner blowing cold air towards us and it really makes a difference to what it was before it was there. Not to mention that it's very quiet even when it's on.
