It's worth trying a soft cushioning block.
I just installed a soft dampening block. I found the soft damper added softness at the end of pedal travel. But I also paired it with a heavier brake spring and an O-ring on the shock piston. When both mods are combined I feel like it improves pedaling rather than dynamics. A much better improvement over the standard rubber cushion block. Plastic pads for clutch preload and accelerator springs seem to shorten overall pedal travel and just don't care. But I am happy with my purchase.
