Y 40 Thieves Drying Wipes

These drying wipes are highly absorbent and easy to wash. But I can't get rid of her smell. It's not repulsive, but it's not pleasant either. The packaging says soak and wash gently in a mild detergent. Yes? But no matter what I do, the smell stays.
